Forbes: 5 Maui Wildfire Relief Efforts You Can Help Support

Eddy and his wife Sam Garcia run sustainable farms on the south side of Lahaina and Living Earth Systems, a nonprofit that teaches regenerative agriculture. One farm is the closest place to access the burn zone. Focusing on the medium to long-term, the Garcias are bringing in 200-2000 fully off-the-grid portable homes to offer for free to displaced residents.

You can donate to the nonprofit’s Maui relief fund at Regenerative Education Centers (REC). Garcia notes that REC is waiving administrative fees for the time being, so that all the money you donate goes directly to helping locals.
